Expert on Persuasion Techniques
To Speak to Washington County Democrats
A Willamette University professor and author of “Progressive’s Pocketbook of Persuasion” will speak to Washington County Democrats on the technique of persuasion at the group’s monthly Central Committee meeting Sept. 24 at the Kingstad Center, 15450 SW Millikan Way, Beaverton. Social time is at 6:30 p.m. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. The speaker, Courtney Dillard, is a professor at Willamette University’s Rhetoric Department and is a speaker-trainer for the Barack Obama campaign in Oregon and was a speaker-trainer for the John Kerry campaign in 2004.
